The movement can be set clockwise and counterclockwise with one button. Overall, I think this is a good product that can help people with back pain.

Cons: I wanted more heat. The balls heat up slowly, but they don't reach a heat that would make the massage even more pleasant and warming. I don't know if it would help deeper knots (for those it's better to rely on a good physiotherapist).
